As the Good Shepherd, Jesus warns us, His flock, about dangers along our path, and when we ignore Him and fall into traps, He comes and rescues us. He looks out for the weak, helpless, and outcasts and gives them a home and purpose. He protects us from the lion that seeks to devour us.
