Description:

Easter is rightfully the high Point of the Christian year. The Crossing of the Red Sea is similarly a high point in the Old Testament. It is a very fitting passage to read on Easter, because the crossing of the Red Sea is the resurrection of the Old Testament; the image of the Red Sea is the Old Testament equivalent to the Empty Tomb.

 

So what does this text teach us about the resurrection? 

It teaches us that, because of the resurrection of Jesus ...

1. We do not need to fear, 
2. We can stand firm by faith, and 
3. We will one day see the salvation of the LORD.
